Italy 2006
After Switzerland we drove to Italy. The drive was amazing and it was a great way to see the land. We drove through a lot of agriculture in Northern Italy and it looked similar to Northern California. My parents and I went to Florence and Venice. Florence was a really nice city. It was very old with cobble-stone streets and old buildings. There are several bridges that cross the Arno River and they tie the city across the river. The Ponte Vecchio bridge is decorated with fine gold and silver shops. The small wooden and stone shops were neatly kept and their windows were spotless, showcasing the gold and silver.
We then drove to Venice. We drove on a long bridge to get to Venice and we parked in the large parking garage where everyone must park because you can't use cars in Venice. We then took a ferry to Venice.

Switzerland 2006
Language: Swiss German, French, Italian
Population: 7,647,675
Independence: August 1, 1291
I went to Switzerland in June of 2006. Switzerland is a very CLEAN country. It has very dramatic landscape and beautiful Alps. If only had one word to describe this country it would be: Green. Our experience in Switzerland was amazing because we have friends there and we spent time with them. That is the best way to experience a country.
